This month, we had the opportunity to go to Vashon Island so Bradley could take portraits for the Rasmussen family.  If you live in Seattle and haven't been yet, we highly recommend it.  It's a fun little ferry ride over from West Seattle, and we got there hungry for breakfast.  Luckily there are a million and one places to get food in the village in the center of the island.  We then met the Rasmussen's at the Lighthouse at Point Robinson, where these photos were taken.  Eli kept pretty busy throwing rocks in the water (what is it about that that can keep a toddler entranced for hours?).  Afterwards, we drove around the island while Eli napped, and got picnic supplies.  We spent the afternoon at another park; except for a man with a dog named Jean-Pierre, we had the beach to ourselves.  It was fantastic!  Thanks Gwen and Leif for the opportunity to come check out your beautiful community.  Our only regret is that we couldn't make it to the Wizard of Oz/Dark Side of the Moon event at the local theater.  Who knew?
